African Secret celebrates the unique botanical heritage of the Cape, drawing inspiration from the extraordinary diversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom and its indigenous plants, including Buchu, Rooibos and resilient succulents. Every plant has a story, and we are passionate about the rich traditional knowledge surrounding these remarkable plants. Our approach honours Africa’s natural heritage while embracing innovation to create meaningful, nature-inspired personal care.
We believe in the value of South Africa’s indigenous botanicals. With the Founder’s academic background in Phytomedicine and Natural Products, and through collaborations with universities and biotechnology partners, we bring together botanical knowledge and scientific research to inform the development of thoughtfully crafted body care that works in harmony with your skin and the natural world.
We are committed to responsible sourcing and making thoughtful packaging choices, including recyclable and reusable materials where possible.
